What Toggl Track does well

Toggl Track is built for work: timers on every platform, timesheets, billable rates, invoices and team reports, with integrations for Jira, Asana and Notion (Toggl Track). Its free plan covers up to three people, and its newer AI features answer questions about your workspace (Toggl pricing).

How Well Lived is different

Well Lived covers the whole day, not only the billable part, and asks how each part felt. That's what lets it tell you which work energizes you and which drains you, and how your evenings and sleep respond. It has no timers, no clients and no team features.

When to choose Toggl Track

  • You bill by the hour or report time to a team.
  • You want a running timer on your desktop.

When to choose Well Lived

  • You want to see your work in the context of the rest of your life.
  • You care how the hours felt as much as how many there were.
